1080p

Mild GPU limit

Expected frame rate: 442–442 fps (measured range across sources).

CPU Core Ultra 9 285Kceiling ~600 fps on its own

GPU RTX 3090 Ticeiling ~442 fps on its own

The GPU side is lower by about 26.3%: the pair runs at the lower ceiling, and upgrading the other part alone would not raise it.

That range feeds a 165 Hz or faster monitor — this is high-refresh territory in this game.

Confidence: MEDIUM — based on 2 source measurements for these two parts.

1440p

Strong GPU limit

Expected frame rate: 314–314 fps (measured range across sources).

CPU Core Ultra 9 285Kceiling ~600 fps on its own

GPU RTX 3090 Ticeiling ~314 fps on its own

The GPU side is lower by about 47.7%: the pair runs at the lower ceiling, and upgrading the other part alone would not raise it.

That range feeds a 165 Hz or faster monitor — this is high-refresh territory in this game.

Confidence: MEDIUM — based on 2 source measurements for these two parts.

4K

Strong GPU limit

Expected frame rate: 168–168 fps (measured range across sources).

CPU Core Ultra 9 285Kceiling ~600 fps on its own

GPU RTX 3090 Ticeiling ~168 fps on its own

The GPU side is lower by about 72.1%: the pair runs at the lower ceiling, and upgrading the other part alone would not raise it.

That range feeds a 165 Hz or faster monitor — this is high-refresh territory in this game.

Confidence: MEDIUM — based on 2 source measurements for these two parts.

No GPU measured in this game at 1440p fully clears this CPU - the strongest measured option:

RTX 5090 — ceiling ~579 fps (still the limiting side, but the highest measured ceiling) · full result
