Where it sits

The Ryzen 5 3600 ranks 44 of 44 in our database by gaming index. One step up is the Core i5 11400F (index 52.5). The fastest AM4 chip in the database — the drop-in upgrade ceiling for this motherboard — is the Ryzen 7 5800X3D (index 67.6).

Power

With a GeForce RTX 4070, this CPU's 88W peak boost power points to a 550W PSU by our wattage checker method (peak CPU + GPU board power + 100W overhead, smallest standard size keeping at least ~25% reserve — this pairing's reserve works out to ~42%).
